UW MLK Jr. Unity Breakfast

The Annual MLK Jr. Unity Breakfast was established in 2007 by the Black Student Union to celebrate the legacy of Dr. King and inspire members of the campus community to continue to work to make his vision of an equitable society a reality. The program celebrates Dr. King's legacy by creating a space to gather as a community, celebrate art and address the relevancy of civil action today. The program also recognizes students, faculty, and community members for outstanding service to the UW Tacoma and greater Tacoma community through the Dream Awards.
