Black History Celebration Reception with Mayor Ed Murray

Join Mayor Murray, the Central Area Senior Center and the Mayor’s Council on African American Elders as they celebrate Black History Month with performances by Elnah Jordan, Akila Franklin and CASC Sliders and a reading by Taya Simpson on how to stop bullying. There will also be a question and answer session on age-friendly Seattle with Mayor Ed Murray and Catherine Lester, director of the Seattle Human Services Department.
