An African American & Latinx History of the US Book Reading and Signing

Covering US history from 1776 to present, this book demonstrates that the nations of the "Global South" birthed democratic traditions in America. Paul Ortiz is director of the Samuel Proctor Oral History Program and associate professor of history at the University of Florida. This program is cosponsored by the Hispanic Round Table of South Sound and the Friends of the Olympia Timberland Library. The author will read and sign copies of the book.
