26th Annual Nubian Jam - Forest Park, Everett, WA
The Snohomish County Black Heritage Committee is hosting the Annual Nubian Jam Community Festival, July 28th, 2018. The event will take place at Everett’s Forest Park (802 Mukilteo Blvd) from 10am to 7pm.
The purpose of The Nubian Jam is to grow our families and friendships through community programming meant to inspire and rejuvenate. The organizers hope that all residents, and families, will hear about this event and attend.
The Snohomish County Black Heritage Committee in concert with the City of Everett’s Parks and Recreation Department, will be featuring entertainment, food, vendors, special guests and exhibits throughout Everett’s esteemed Forest Park.
Highlights planned for this year are: Live R&B and Soul music, Outreach tables by community partners and service providers, Children’s fun and craft area, and the Reptile Man and his traveling exhibit. All other park facilities will be open, including the Water Playground and Jungle Gym, horseshoe pits, tennis courts, and basketball courts. The Snohomish County Black Heritage Committee is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to educate Snohomish County residents about the cultural roots of African Americans of the Pacific Northwest.
