I hold a bachelor's degree in psychology and Special Education from Eastern Washington University and a master’s degree in professional development education and educational Administration from Heritage University. I also hold a Principal Certification from Heritage.

My educational experience started as a special education teacher in the Bethel School District in Pierce County. When I moved to Pasco, I became the Dean of Students and an Intervention Coordinator at Pasco High, then became the Assistant Principal of McLoughlin Middle School and Walla Walla High School. I have also served as an adjunct education professor at Washington State University Tri-Cities.

I have been an experienced school leader for over 25 years - striving to create strong partnerships with colleagues and the community and work to ensure learning gains and post-secondary success for all students. I am the assistant principal at Kennewick High School. I have created a strong partnership with my colleagues and the community and work to ensure learning gains and post-secondary success for all students.  

I serve as an AACCES (African American Community Cultural & Educational Society) member, community volunteer, and Riverview United Methodist Church outreach.  I'm also a member of Men in the Middle, working with the Walla Walla Community Health Department.
